Regular member
A « regular member » is a company or individual recognized by the Quebec shipbuilding industry. It may be a shipyard or an individual who works or has worked in the shipbuilding sector and whose achievements are considered by his peers as relevant and significant. Only regular members can sit and make decisions on the Board of Directors. Founders of PMSL are considered like a regular member of PMSL. They must still pay the annual dues to be considered in good standing. A « member in good standing » is defined as a regular or affiliate member who has paid the annual membership fee in accordance with the rates and deadlines set by the Board of Directors for their category.
Affiliate member
Affiliate Member » means an individual, business or organization that supports and shares the mission, vision and values of PMSL and is recognized by the Board of Directors. There are several categories of Affiliate Members that may be considered by the Board of Directors. Affiliate members in good standing do not have the right to vote at general meetings but may attend. A « member in good standing » is defined as a regular or affiliate member who has paid the annual membership fee in accordance with the rates and deadlines set by the Board of Directors for their category.
